Michelle DuQuesnay, (left) fashion stylist & personal organizer, has had the desire and ability to help people her entire life but she wasn't always a person you would describe as organized. After reading every book on organization and trying every method known to man, she was rediagnosed with ADHD in 2006 and everything came into focus. She realized that the perfect organizing solution for everyone was different.
Michelle studied psychology at Dominican College in Blauvelt, NY before moving to Manhattan where she studied Jewelry Design at FIT. In 2004, she started a jewelry company called Ms. DuQuesnay LLC, which has been featured in various publications including the New York Times as well as on many celebrities, including Ciara. Also having worked as a fashion, make up & hair stylist for various publications, events & runway shows; Michelle is diversely talented, an innovator in her industry & is often referred to as a secret weapon.
In early 2007, she opened a custom cake design studio called Sugar Mama NYC, creating confectionery masterpieces for clients such as John Legend, NBC's Saturday Night Live, Stephen Colbert, Virgin Atlantic Airlines & more. Inspired to return to her first loves, fashion & helping others, she began Adding Bliss in the Fall of 2010. Adding Bliss is about taking all of the areas of your life and bringing them into focus while having fun. In addition to access to Michelle's styling & organizing expertise, readers of Adding Bliss are treated to articles spanning topics that are important to today's woman; including fashion, food, health, charity, entertainment & more.
