My mother is the hardest person to shop for because, like me, she is an impulsive shopper. She hits the stores almost everyday with a fistful of coupons looking for the best deal. And when she sees something she likes... she gets it.
She's also a gadget and appliance junkie. If there is a commercial for it and Consumer Reports rates it #1 she probably has one in every color. So this Christmas instead of trying to guess which hot new iPad accessory she doesn't have or get her a gift card (oh, the impersonal horror!) I decided to design a simple gallery wall in her hallway that currently occupied by atrocious plastic photo displays with all the spaces filled and extra photos shoved in.
before...
and after...
A gallery wall is a fun an simple way to display a lot of photos while reflecting your own personal style. It sets the mood for the space your in.
Here are some other gallery walls I love:
The floor-to-ceiling photos are great and the black and white motif keeps it from becoming overwhelming. photo
I love the oversized frames in this room. photo
This is the wall in my TV room. The white frames are wedding photos.
I love the center line. It gives a reflective feel. photo
I hope they inspire you
Do you have a gallery wall in home and if not would you ever?
Which wall if your favorite? (I'm partial to the 3rd one...)
that's all for now,
thanks for tuning in.
Until next time...
Keep Adding Bliss!
